extended supply chain execution solutions. With revenues of $31 million and a

the system and adapt it quickly and
cost-effectively to their ever-changing business needs. Today,

Modular
Computing & Communications
(MC2)
was formed to develop an integrated,
mobile computer and cell phone end-user device. MC2 and its technology
partners have developed and are integrating technology that allows an end-user
to carry, with little effort, a Pentium-class PC/cell phone combination
(“PAC”) on their belts or in their pockets. End-users can interface with the
PAC system through a wireless monitor and headset. A docking station, with
keyboard and mouse, can provide end-users with a typical desktop computing
environment that they are familiar with. The docking station will provide
power for re-charging the PAC and wireless monitor and network connectivity
while docked. When the end-users go mobile, they remove the PAC and wireless
monitor, which they carry with them and connect through the wireless
capabilities of the PAC to their networks.
The Company is working with
industry leaders such as IBM, Intel, Transmeta, Siemens, and others to produce
as high quality device as possible. It is intended that the device will carry
both an IBM and a MC2 logo. (no website) |
