Mr. Hanson is the Managing Director of Korn/Ferry International’s Minneapolis office. He is a member of the firm’s advanced technology and industrial practices and is responsible for leading the firm’s overall search practice in the Upper Midwest. Mr. Hanson has completed over 100 senior -level executive searches, with primary focus on finding chief executives and presidents for clients in the technology and manufacturing sectors. His clients include leading public corporations, as well as early stage companies undergoing significant change as a result of dramatic growth, competitive pressures, reorganization or replacement of long-term leadership. Before joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Hanson was with American Express Corporation, where he held a variety of general management and consulting positions. He previously served as a manager and commodity trader with Cargill, Incorporated. Mr. Hanson is active in nonprofit, community-based board work. A native of Minneapolis, he holds a BA from Hamline University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
