Matt,

Just a quick note to let you know that the morning after our ads ran in your newsletter we started averaging more than 300 unique users an hour (600 between 7-9 am). Our previous best hour had been 62 unique visitors.
 
We have doubled our registered users in two days and have more than doubled our ads in "Jobs" and "Stuff for Sale/Wanted."
 
It is definitely money well spent and we will be advertising more in the future.

Advertising Through NetSuds and MedSuds

Email Ads

 NetSuds:  Small ads are $75/ad.  Medium ads are $100/ad. Large ads are $125/ad.  Buying 5 ads at a time costs $50/ad (small), $65/ad (medium) or $90/ad (large). Buying 15 ads at a time cost $35/ad (small), $48/ad (medium) or $60/ad (large).  Buying 50 ads at a time cost $16/ad (small), $20/ad (medium) or $24/ad (large). 

® Best Value:  Buying 100 ads at a time cost $12.50/ad (small), $15/ad (medium) or $19/ad (large).  The 100-ad option is a year's worth of advertising.  With the 100-ad option, you can also have all your company's events listed in our emails for an addition $400/year.

MedSuds:  Email ads are subject to a 30% discount off of prices listed above for NetSuds.

Ad sizes are negotiable.  Generally, a small ad is 150 pixels wide by 150 pixels long.  A medium ad is 150 pixels wide by 300 pixels long.  A large ad is 150 pixels wide by 450 pixels long.  These are general guidelines.  For examples of, see the right column of this website.

The NetSuds email lists reach between 5600+ and 6100+ people; depending on the exact email list.  The email list members are mostly in the Twin Cities metro area, mostly in the tech business. The MedSuds email list reaches 2800+ in the Twin Cities. We also have NetSuds email lists in DC, CA and NC; lists there reach about 1000 people.

The email lists are "cleaned" (bouncing email addresses are removed) at least monthly.  All email lists are double opt-in, double opt-out.  That means that subscribers must first ask to be on the email list.  When they attempt to register, they are sent an email (to the email address being registered) and must click a link to be accepted as registered.  This protects against bogus email addresses being added to the email list.

Event Sponsorships

Depending on the event, sponsorships can run as little as $300 or as high as $50,000. A typical breakfast event sponsorship would be $300. An exhibit table at a quarterly reception would be between $250 and $500. Call or email for details.
